What is a CSA?

CSA is an acronym for Community Supported Agriculture and refers to the group of members who pre-pay for a season of food and receive a weekly share of vegetables from a farm.

Having this early commitment in the form of capital allows the farmer to purchase seeds, supplies and soil amendments for the upcoming growing season. This relationship between the farm and the member spreads the risk and the rewards of the harvest around the community so everyone benefits.

Our CSA - you choose your veggies each week!

Our CSA is structured as a fully customizable, pre-packed weekly box of vegetables that is either delivered to a centralized drop-off point or picked up at the farm.

As a member, you will receive a newsletter each week with pictures, farm updates and a peek at what’s available that week. You then fill out a form indicating what you’d like and we harvest and pack to order. We try to offer a large and diverse selection of veggies so that you can be sure that you’re receiving food that you and your family will be sure to eat. For example, if you really don’t like kale, you never have to choose to get kale in your box. If you love kale, you can likely get kale every week. This system also compliments a home garden nicely!

Members who pick up on the farm get an additional benefit of having access to our Pick-Your-Own (PYO) which is blooming with cutting flowers and herbs beginning in late June. You can just come grab your share and leave or take a walk, pick something and have a picnic!
